喝米水可以減肥/增肥嗎?
有正在減肥的人聞澱粉質而色變,問我們:「多喝米水會肥嗎?」喝米水的功效在於養好脾胃,如果脾胃虛弱,消化及運化能力失常,難以推動體內水液,代謝循環不暢,身體無法把體內多餘水份排出體外,水濕停於體內,聚成痰濕,形成水腫、痰等症狀,反而會令身體變得肥腫。
脾胃虛弱亦會形成另一種身型極端——食極唔肥,因為脾胃受損等於消化系統失常,儘管有多貴多營養的食物補品,身體都不能正常吸收,出現稍吃油膩或多吃後便會腹瀉、大便次數增加等脾胃症狀。
養好脾胃,使消化吸收及轉化功能正常運作,身體才能攝取飲食中的營養,然後才能靠運動、調節飲食去控制體重及身型,所以喝米水是調理身體功效的飲品,不會直接減肥或增肥,唯有養好脾胃後,減肥或增肥會事半功倍。

答:以我們的紙包米水為例,一包250毫升的紙包米水有約15至16千卡(千卡為卡路里的單位),一包20克的即沖朝米水粉有約71千卡,一碗白飯約200千卡,所以米水的卡路里其實很低呢。

Those with asthenic spleen and stomach will have malfunctioning digestive systems, leading to difficulty circulating fluids, and the body cannot remove excess fluids from the body. With the dampness in body, it can lead to edema and phlegm causing the body to be chubbier.
There is also another extreme result of asthenic spleen and stomach- inability to gain weight no matter what you eat. Due to the weakened digestive system, no matter what nutritious foods you consume, you body cannot properly absorb the necessary nutrients. You may be prone to diarrhea just be eating some slightly oilier things or overeating by a bit.
Keeping a healthy spleen and diet helps the body absorb, convert and transport allowing the body to absorb proper nutrients. You can then rely on exercising and diet control to manage your body weight and shape. Rice water is a way to strengthen your overall health, and not for gaining or losing weight. Your objective to gain or lose weight would be easier when you have a healthy spleen and stomach.

How many calories are in rice water?
Our paper pack rice water has 15-16 kcal, and a pack of our 20g instant rice water has 71kcal. A bowl of rice has approximately 200kcal so the calorie count in rice water is actually quite low.

Lightest I've ever been in years. I weight less than 65kg!

When i was at my leanest the past few years i was at 66 to 67 kg with control diet.

I've never reach below 65kg and I've achieved that in my recent cover shoot (My intention was to lose fat fast due to bad eating habits/lifestyle in the past months)

Confession.
I'm never concern about losing weight or muscle because I know the right protocols to gain back naturally fast. Will share more soon!

But 1st, fat loss tips:
.
The weight you'll lose in the beginning when you cut off carbs are mainly water and glycogen stores.
.
In an optimal fat loss principle, I believe you need to prime your body in a state where it will start to burn fats instead of carbs or proteins and thus that is why you want to deplete your body glycogen stores first (cutting off carbs)
.
The next step is to constantly keep your insulin level low. Constant elevated insulin levels will prevent you from losing fat.
Here's how i achieve it: .
⚫Avoid any sugar or process food
.
⚫Good amount of quality protein sources (free range/wild caught or organic meat or plant based protein - to minimize chronic inflammation, go natural)
.
⚫Non-starchy vegetables in abundance (Supplies the minerals, vitamins plus fibre to keeps you feeling full. Veges enhances your body detoxification process too. Carbs from veges are minimal and fine here as long as you are having it with your main meals)
.
⚫Avoid snacking or eating between your main meals. Even snacking on healthy food (protein) does trigger a metabolic response and cause insulin elevation although minimal but the intention for now is to minimize insulin response as much as possible so your body will be in a prolong state in burning fats.

⚫Incorporate Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) in your diet. VCO helps shift your body ability to burn fats as fuel.
